How do I begin?  I suppose I could introduce myself.  I am a woman who is not in any sort of Law degree program.  My first step into the subject of Justice came to me by accident.  I had become involved with the Bachelor’s of Applied Sciences when I started having to learn about ethics, laws, and business practices.  The subjects fascinated me far more than what I was being taught in my CNET courses.  From this spark of intense interest, I had since migrated my degree concentration from Computer Networking to Project Supervision.  When I spoke with my advisor about changing major, the first thing he asked me was “why do you want to go into this degree concentration?”  I was dumbfounded.  I honestly hadn’t even thought about why this interested me so much, I just knew that I wanted to be a part of it and learn more from it.  I didn’t give him a good answer at that point, but over time the question stuck with me.  It had only been asked to me several months before this post, and yet the question stayed with me, prompting me to ask myself the same question over and over again.

I have finally found my answer when I began linking what I think about the most to what I’m most passionate about, and that’s when it hit me: Justice.  If I were a Dungeons and Dragons character in real life I would be a lawful good paladin.  I feel so strongly about justice that any act of injustice seems totally illogical.  I can reason out how a person may have convinced themselves that what they were doing was right even though it was most definitely not right, but I simply can not sympathize with a person who would simply disregard justice to such an extent.

Therefore, that is what I shall make this blog all about.  I wish to share my views of justice to those who would listen and to vent my frustrations here about injustice as necessary.  I know this may all sound so corney to most of the people I know will read at least this first post, but I can’t help it if I feel so strongly about it, can I?
